Job summary

Rentokil Pest Control is seeking a Graduate Pest Control Technician to cover Bedford, Flitwick, Ampthill, Woburn, Woburn Sands and Caldecotte. The role offers full training, no experience required, and a clear career path within Rentokil Initial.

You’ll start with six to twelve months in a designated area, delivering pest control support and industry-recognised training, with potential progression to Sales Surveyor, Field Biologist, Service Team Leader, or Key Account Manager over 12–36 months.

Qualifications

• A minimum 2.2 degree in a science/BSc subject including Social Science, or a BA in Business Management, Hospitality or Tourism.
• Desire to work hard and have fun while meeting and interacting with customers daily.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role.
• Additional opportunities to earn more with regular bonus and commission schemes.
• Access to a company vehicle and fuel card.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks.
• Swiftly tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
• Offering valuable advice to customers on the maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
• Completing accurate reports after every visit.
• Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times.
