Job summary

Isio, based in Birmingham, is offering an early careers opportunity within its Pensions Consulting team. You will support trustees and employers with governance, meetings, budgets and scheme changes, while developing consulting, organisation and communication skills.

This is a permanent role with growing responsibilities as you learn. We value numerical and financial acumen, clear communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications

• You must have completed an undergraduate degree or higher-level qualification by 20 September 2027 and achieved a 2.1 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare trustee meeting agendas and coordinate meeting papers.
• Prepare governance materials, including risk logs, training logs and scheme returns.
• Attend client meetings and draft clear meeting minutes.
• Track actions and help ensure they are completed by agreed deadlines.
• Support employee communications, including newsletters.
• Help clients understand and respond to governance changes affecting their pension schemes.
• Review processes and contribute ideas for improving client delivery.
• Support annual budget planning and monitor adviser costs.
• Contribute to proposals for new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with colleagues and other advisers to deliver agreed client outcomes.
• Communicate clearly and listen to other people's views.
