Job summary

Isio is recruiting for a graduate-entry role in its Pensions Consulting team in Croydon. You will support trustees and employers with governance, meetings, communications, budgets and scheme changes, while building knowledge of pension schemes and developing consulting, organisational and communication skills.

The role is permanent, with structured development, an induction programme, study support toward PMI qualifications and a supportive team to help you grow and deliver client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or higher-level qualification by 20 September 2027 with 2.1 or higher.
• Strong motivation, numerical and problem-solving skills, communication, teamwork and a proactive approach to learning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare trustee meeting agendas and papers.
• Draft clear meeting minutes and governance materials.
• Assist with budget planning and tracking adviser costs.
• Support client communications, including newsletters.
• Contribute to proposals for new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with colleagues and other advisers to deliver client outcomes.

Job description

Join our Pensions Consulting team in Croydon and help pension scheme trustees and employers run their schemes effectively. You will support clients with governance, meetings, communications, budgets and changes that affect their schemes and members. You will work with colleagues and clients from the start, building your knowledge of pension schemes while developing strong consulting, organisation and communication skills. You will be employed on a permanent basis, and your responsibilities will grow as your skills and confidence develop.What does the role entail?

• Help prepare trustee meeting agendas and coordinate meeting papers
• Prepare governance materials, including risk logs, training logs and scheme returns
• Attend client meetings and draft clear meeting minutes
• Track actions and help ensure they are completed by agreed deadlines
• Support employee communications, including newsletters
• Help clients understand and respond to governance changes affecting their pension schemes
• Review processes and contribute ideas for improving client delivery
• Support annual budget planning and monitor adviser costs
• Contribute to proposals for new business opportunities
• Coordinate with colleagues and other advisers to deliver agreed client outcomes
• Clear and consistent written and spoken communication skills

• You must have completed an undergraduate degree or higher-level qualification by 20 September 2027 and achieved a 2.1 or higher. If you are in your final year, you should be on track to achieve this, We will explain what to expect before each stage. The process will assess your motivation, numerical and problem-solving skills, communication, teamwork and approach to learning. It will not assume previous pensions knowledge.
