Are you a recent Psychology Graduate looking to kick-start your career in the Mental Health Sector?

Are you looking for a role where you can support the mental health of vulnerable young and at-risk young people? A well-respected specialist school near Godalming is looking for a Graduate Pastoral Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students range between 10 and 16 years old, and face a range of social, emotional and mental health needs, and challenges including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioural issues. The students therefore need a Graduate Pastoral Assistant who will be dedicated to being a consistent role model, is committed to building strong relationships, is empathetic and up for a challenge! The school is located in the beautiful Godalming Surrey Hills and has on-site parking.

The ideal Graduate Pastoral Assistant must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. The perfect candidate will have experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology or Counselling would also be perfect for this position.

ASAP start - £80-£100 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, PAYE, term time only. Excellent on-site training, support and CPD is provided to ensure safeguarding of all students. You MUST have right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship. Must be able to travel to Godalming.
