Are you a recent Psychology Graduate looking to kick-start your career in the Mental Health Sector?

Are you looking for a role where you can support the mental health of vulnerable young people?

A well-respected specialist school near Reigate is looking for a Graduate Intervention and Pastoral Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students range between 10 and 16 years old and face a range of social, emotional and mental health needs, including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioural issues. The students therefore need a Graduate Intervention and Pastoral Assistant who will be dedicated to being a consistent role model, committed to building strong relationships, empathetic, and up for a challenge. The school is located in Reigate and has on-site parking.

The ideal Graduate Intervention and Pastoral Assistant must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. The perfect candidate will have experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling would also be ideal for this position.

Details:

  1. Start date: ASAP
  2. Must be able to travel to Reigate
  3. £80-£100 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, term time only
  4. Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD provided to ensure safeguarding of all students
  5. You MUST have the right to work in the UK in order to apply - no Visa sponsorship
