Are you a recent Psychology Graduate looking to kick-start your career in the Mental Health Sector?

Are you looking for a role where you can support the mental health of vulnerable and at-risk young people?

A well-respected specialist school near Guildford is looking for a Graduate Pastoral Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students range between 10 and 16 years old and face a range of social, emotional, and mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioral issues. The Graduate Pastoral Assistant will need to be a dedicated role model, committed to building strong relationships, empathetic, and ready for a challenge! The school is located near Guildford, in the beautiful Surrey Hills, and has on-site parking.

The ideal Graduate Pastoral Assistant must be open-minded, resilient, and knowledgeable about mental health. Experience with SEN children and/or adults in any setting is preferred. Graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling would also be excellent candidates for this position.

£80-£100 per day, Mon-Fri, 8.30am-4pm, PAYE, term time only

Excellent on-site training, support, and CPD is provided to ensure the safeguarding of all students
