Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Graduate Occupational Therapist to join St Mary’s Hospital in Warrington, delivering comprehensive OT assessments and developing treatment programmes under supervision.

You will work within an ABI and progressive neuro condition service, in a multidisciplinary, recovery‑focused setting with teamwork and supervision from experienced professionals, plus access to ongoing training to advance your career.

Under supervision, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating evidence-based group and individual programmes. You will create individual rapports with service users to empower recovery.

As a Graduate Occupational Therapist You Will Be

• Providing comprehensive OT assessments.
• Under supervision, planning and reviewing OT treatment programmes.
• Under supervision, identifying and actioning referrals both in-house, including support staff, and to external agencies
• Supporting the planning, evaluation, and audit of practices, clinical pathways and protocols at St Mary's Hospital.
• Ensuring that contemporaneous, written and electronic records and activity data are maintained following professional and services standards.

To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Need

• A Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
• A UK HCPC registration or applied for
• Evidence of ability to research, plan, implement and evaluate a project for specific groups
• Effective written/verbal communication skills

St Mary’s Hospital provides high‑quality care and rehabilitation for men aged 18 and over who require specialised mental health support within a safe, structured and therapeutic inpatient environment.

Our services include a comprehensive range of specialist pathways for individuals with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), including:

• Level 2 ABI rehabilitation
• Low Secure ABI services
• Medium Secure ABI services

These programmes are delivered within a multidisciplinary, Neurobehavioral, recovery‑focused setting designed to promote independence, stability and long‑term wellbeing.

In addition, St Mary’s Hospital offers an acute mental health servicededicated to the assessment, treatment and stabilisation of individuals experiencing crisis or significant mental health difficulties. This service provides timely, compassionate intervention to support recovery and reduce risk.
