Job summary

Binnies, part of the RSK Group, is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join the design team in the East of England. You will work within multi-disciplinary project teams to develop mechanical and hydraulic systems for water treatment processes, with occasional site visits to gain practical experience.

As part of the @one Alliance, you will contribute to standard products and industrialised package solutions while applying Anglian Water standards and ensuring timely, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng or MEng) required.
• Strong collaboration skills with Alliance teams and client.
• Rigorous delivery focus with accurate, timely decision-making.
• Knowledge of mechanical design in a water/industrial environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and hydraulic systems for treatment plant processes.
• Support the design of pumping systems.
• Assist with power generation and package plant integration.
• Develop mechanical equipment designs for hazardous areas per DSEAR.
• Apply Anglian Water engineering standards and standard products.
• Contribute to standard products and industrialised package solutions.
• Ensure projects meet timescales, budgets and quality standards.
