Job summary

Binnies is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our water-focused team in the East of England. You will work in design offices, contributing to mechanical and hydraulic systems for treatment processes and pumping, with occasional site visits.

You'll develop your skills within multi-disciplinary project teams, applying DSEAR-aligned designs and Totex concepts while collaborating with partner organisations across the @one Alliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng or MEng) required.
• Ability to work collaboratively across Alliance teams and with the client.
• Structured approach with delivery and decision-making focus.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and hydraulic systems for treatment plant processes.
• Assist in designing pumping systems and mechanical building services.
• Support integration of power generation and package plant.
• Develop mechanical equipment designs for hazardous areas per DSEAR.
• Contribute to standard products and industrialised solutions.
• Ensure projects meet timescales, budgets and quality standards.
