Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Edinburgh is recruiting graduates for an 18-month Graduate Mechanical Engineer Programme. You will support the design and development of radar and electro-optic products and rotate through projects and lifecycle stages under senior mentors.

The programme offers a starting salary of £34,000 plus a £1,000 welcome bonus, potential £1,000 exit bonus, and options such as travel to sites and a Hybrid working pattern.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or integrated Master's in Mechanical Engineering (IMEche-accredited preferred).
Experience with CAD modelling and technical writing.
Summer placements or internships in mechanical engineering.
Strong analytical, modelling and laboratory skills.
Teamworking abilities and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

Support design and development of radar and electro-optic products.
Learn from experienced mechanical engineers and rotate through projects.
Engage in stress and thermal analysis and lifecycle activities.
Contribute to analysis and product support across projects.
