Job summary

Leonardo Graduate Mechanical Engineer opportunity in the Radar and Advanced Targeting line. You will support design and development of radar and electro-optic products under experienced engineers, with rotations across project phases to accelerate your learning.

The programme targets graduates with a 2:2 or higher from an IMechE accredited course, including possible MSc/PhD, and includes structured development, mentorship and formal progression toward Chartered Engineer status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 Bachelor’s/Integrated Master’s degree from an IMechE accredited course.
• Higher degree (MSc/PhD) welcomed.
• Experience with CAD tools and engineering analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of radar and electro-optic products.
• Rotate through projects and lifecycle stages to accelerate competency.
• Learn and apply stress/thermal analysis, requirements analysis, design and test.
• Work under mentors to progress toward Chartered Engineer status.
