Job summary

Galliford Try invites applications for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in 2027, based in the UK. The two-year Environment Programme delivers hands-on mechanical project experience from design through to completion, with a focus on safety, quality and delivery.

You will support engineering delivery on projects of varying size, attend testing and commissioning, and contribute to design reviews and hazard studies while developing professional qualifications if desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) before Sept 2027.
• UK driving licence (or working toward) by 6 Sept 2027.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of mechanical projects from design to completion.
• Support on health and safety documentation (risk assessments, method statements).
• Assist with procurement, testing, commissioning, and client training.
