Automation Experts in the South West of England is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join its technical sales team. You will blend engineering knowledge with commercial awareness to prepare quotations, bids and proposals while learning about the company’s high-tech machinery.

Ideal candidates are mechanical engineering graduates with strong communication skills, an eye for detail and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with strong classification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, bids, tenders and commercial proposals.

The Role

• Preparing quotations, bids, tenders and commercial proposals.
• Reviewing customer requirements and interpreting technical specifications.
• Working closely with engineering and other internal departments to develop suitable solutions.
• Supporting pricing, costing and commercial documentation.
• Liaising with customers and suppliers to obtain technical and commercial information.
• Developing an understanding of the company's machinery, products and markets.
• Supporting the sales team in identifying new business opportunities and contributing to continued growth.
• Undertaking UK and international travel when required.

Location and Eligibility

The position is based in South West of England near to Plymouth, Dartmoor National Park and The Tamar Valley

Candidates must currently reside in the UK and be willing to relocate to this area and already have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.
