Job summary

Kier Group in London is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join the Infrastructure team and support the water portfolio across Thames Valley and London. Starting salary £31,000 with the potential car allowance or company car, permanent, full-time with a 2-year scheme leading to an assistant role and salary growth.

You will design and develop mechanical systems, prepare drawings and reports, conduct site visits, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Graduate in 2027 or within last 3 years in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong interest in mechanical engineering and project management.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the design and development of mechanical systems for projects.

Starting Salary:£31,000 per annumwith possible car allowance of £4,750 or company car depending on eligibility

Pathway:Permanent, Full-time2-year programme, leading to assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of CIRCA £38k

Starting date:September 2027

What will you be responsible for?

AsaGraduate Mechanical Engineer, you'll be assisting in the design, development, and implementation of mechanicalsystems for various projects.

Your day to day will include:
