Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer (Manufacturing) in Oldham. The role focuses on the complete design process of precision manufactured parts, with extensive training and an early finish on Fridays.

The successful candidate will use 3D design software in sheet metal applications, liaise with customers and internal departments, and participate in structured training. Office-based with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

Are you a recent graduate, with 3D design experience, who is looking for an exciting opportunity to join a growing company that can offer extensive training with both product and industry training provided?

The company have been established for over three decades and in that time have grown to supply a range of industries. Primarily, they provide solutions for the lighting, food catering and general fabrication industries.

The suitable candidate will be working on the entire design process of precision manufactured parts. This position will primarily be office based, with client site visits involved.

This role would suit a recent graduate, from an engineering discipline, who is looking for an exciting opportunity within a specialist manufacturer, that offer extensive training and an early Friday finish.

The Role:

• Learn to use 3D Design software within sheet metal applications
• Liaise with customers and internal departments
• Follow the structured training
• Monday - Thursday (08:00 - 17:15) Friday (08:00 - 16:00)

The Person:

• Recent graduate who has studied within the engineering sector
• Experience with 3D Modelling
