RED ENGINEERING DESIGN LIMITED in the United Kingdom is launching a structured graduate programme for September 2027. Based in Bicester, Oxfordshire, this role offers hands-on experience in building services design for data centres, with mentoring from industry experts and a clear path to professional chartership.

As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of real projects, develop skills in BIM and design software, visit project sites, and work

Qualifications

• Minimum BSc/BEng (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Basic knowledge of BIM and engineering software.
• Understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
• Strong IT skills (MS Office, calculations).
• Proactive, enthusiastic and organised approach, with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of exciting, real-world engineering projects.
• Develop your technical and business skills through structured training and mentoring toward chartership.
• Explore emerging technologies and bring fresh ideas to live projects.
• Learn from experienced engineers, project managers and clients across multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop your proficiency with industry‑leading design software and BIM.
