Job summary

RED is launching a structured graduate programme for aspiring engineers to shape the future of data centres and the built environment. You will gain hands-on experience, mentoring, and exposure to industry-leading software, with a pathway towards Chartered Engineer status.

You’ll work within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team on live projects, evolve your technical and business skills, and benefit from a hybrid working model and a supportive development culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required (BSc/BEng or equivalent)
• Willingness to work toward Chartered Engineer status
• Basic knowledge of BIM and engineering software
• Understanding Health & Safety legislation
• Strong IT skills (MS Office, calculations)
• Proactive, enthusiastic and organized with ownership of tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem‑solving and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and delivery of real-world engineering projects.
• Support project documentation and information management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across projects.
• Learn from experienced engineers and mentors to progress toward chartership.
