Qualifications

  • Numerical/engineering/scientific degree or PhD in a relevant subject.
  • Experience or higher degree in a relevant subject is accepted.
  • Familiarity with ship navigation, mooring, and port operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mooring assessments using dynamic mooring analysis tools for safe berthing.
  • Operate the UK Ship Simulator as part of the simulation team for port design studies.
  • Operate scale physical models for experiments.
  • Process data and report results for client presentations.
