Job summary

Haskoning is seeking a Senior Coastal Modeller to join our Maritime Numerical Modelling team in the UK. You will lead coastal modelling studies and work on breakwaters, seawalls, and related infrastructure while analysing data to improve models.

You will communicate complex concepts clearly to clients and colleagues, mentor juniors, and contribute to project delivery with a focus on digital tools and best practices. A degree in coastal engineering or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in coastal/ocean engineering or equivalent.
• Experience delivering coastal numerical modelling studies.
• Strong communication of technical ideas to clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead numerical modelling studies across coastal and maritime projects.
• Collect and analyse data to inform model development.
• Perform hydrodynamic, wave, sediment transport and CFD modelling.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to clients.
• Support project delivery within budget and schedule.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices.
