Job summary

AERIUS Marine UK, a market leader in marine HVAC systems, is seeking a Graduate HVAC Detail Designer to join the detail design team on high profile marine projects.

You will create and modify HVAC routed systems and BOMs within FORAN, generate 2D outputs from 3D models, and collaborate with other disciplines to resolve integration issues while ensuring design standards. This entry level role includes on-the-job training and opportunities to grow in shipbuilding and HVAC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with the engineering design process.
• Proficiency with a CAD package.
• Experience with Bills of Materials.
• Experience creating CAD drawing outputs.
• Ability to work with equipment part catalogs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify HVAC routed systems and BOMs within FORAN.
• Generate clear 2D outputs from fully developed 3D models.
• Interface with HVAC System Designers and other teams to resolve integration issues.
• Read and interpret data sheets, diagrams and BOMs for HVAC systems.
• Read complex schematics and integrate HVAC systems accordingly.
• Work with equipment catalogs for selection.
