Job summary

AERIUS Marine UK is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to support tender responses and develop HVAC operation and control systems. You will contribute to design documentation, support commissioning teams, and manage life-cycle design changes to HVAC/electrical systems.

The role requires hands-on experience with marine electrical systems, PLC control, and panel design, along with strong client and supplier liaison abilities.

Qualifications

• HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Proven design experience with Marine Electrical Systems.
• Experience with naval electrical standards and classification societies.
• Experience of PLC control and software design/specification.
• Proven client interface capability and supplier management.
• Desirable: 2D AutoCAD and Foran; BOM experience.

Responsibilities

• Development of the clients’ requirements into viable system designs.
• Developing and managing the control philosophy for the HVAC system.
• Produce specifications for supplier/subcontractor deliverables.
• Managing all aspects of the HVAC control system design and the electrical equipment.
• Liaising with project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
