Job summary

Graphcore invites graduates to join a two-year Manufacturing Operations Graduate programme in Bristol. From day one, you’ll own projects, tackle challenges and contribute to the design-to-manufacture journey of AI hardware across global supply chains.

You’ll rotate through manufacturing operations, gain hands-on experience in silicon packaging and PCB assembly, and work with product test, quality and supply chain teams to improve quality, cost and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field.
• Knowledge of semiconductor design and manufacturing principles, and an understanding of design and manufacturing principles for printed circuit board assemblies and servers.
• Experience using tools such as Python, Linux, Bash and Git.
• Data analysis skills, with the ability to explain findings and support decisions using evidence.

Responsibilities

• You'll support silicon packaging and PCB assembly production in Taiwan and analyse performance data.
• Use test design to investigate hardware and software issues to improve quality, cost and delivery.
• Contribute to quality planning, audits and process control, alongside component selection and bill of materials management.
• Participate in two-year graduate rotation to understand how engineering decisions affect the finished product and supply chain.
