Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a Graduate Maintenance Electrician / Electrical Engineer to join our client based in Bilston. The role involves carrying out electrical maintenance on production machinery, fault finding, and supporting preventative maintenance programs.

You will work with experienced engineers to improve equipment reliability, assist with PLC/automation tasks, and ensure all work adheres to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Strong 2:1 or First Class preferred.
• Interest in electrical maintenance in manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on and practical approach to engineering.
• Knowledge of fault finding and electrical systems.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• 18th Edition qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance on production machinery and equipment.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 16:30

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with fault finding, repairs and breakdown response.

• Working alongside experienced engineers to improve equipment reliability.
• Assisting with PLC and automation-related tasks.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
• Ideally a First Class degree or a strong 2:1 classification.
• Strong interest in electrical maintenance and manufacturing environments.
• Practical and hands-on approach to engineering.
• Knowledge of fault finding and electrical systems.
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• 18th Edition qualification or installation experience would be advantageous.
