Rider Levett Bucknall in Birmingham is seeking a Graduate Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to join our Building Services team and start your career on diverse projects across healthcare, retail, offices, education and public sector developments.

As part of our Future Professionals programme, you will gain hands-on experience supporting M&E consultancy services, condition surveys, and project work while developing technical knowledge and professional skills.

Qualificações

• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related
• Strong academic record and genuine interest in building services engineering
• Working towards or interested in pursuing professional membership with CIBSE, IET or equivalent

Responsabilidades

• Support M&E condition surveys and technical inspections.
• Assist with pre-acquisition and due diligence surveys.
• Contribute to dilapidations assessments and technical reviews.
• Support the preparation of PPM schedules and lifecycle replacement plans.
• Undertake site visits to inspect mechanical and electrical systems and assets.
• Assist in monitoring M&E installations and construction works for quality and compliance.
• Collect, analyse and record asset data and survey information.
• Prepare technical reports and client deliverables under supervision.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, cost consultants and wider multidisciplinary teams.
• Support project delivery in line with company procedures, quality standards and client requirements.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality management procedures.
• Develop understanding of commercial, contractual and procurement principles within project delivery.
• Take ownership of your professional development and work towards chartership.
