Job summary

INDEDU is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for an Outstanding primary school in Croydon, South London. This full-time, one-year fixed-term contract offers weekly pay and is ideal for graduates aiming for teaching or psychology pathways.

The role involves supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development, and working with teachers and specialists to deliver interventions and create an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• A degree from a Russell Group university.
• First-Class Honours or a strong 2:1.
• Degree in Psychology, Education Studies or related field.
• Excellent GCSE results in Mathematics, English and Science.
• Strong A-Levels results.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Assist class teachers in delivering lessons.
• Support pupils needing additional learning or pastoral support.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and resilience.
• Support literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
• Monitor pupil progress and communicate with teachers and parents.
