Job summary

KPI RECRUITING LTD is seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Liverpool. This role offers hands-on experience in a key stage 1/2 setting and a pathway to careers in teaching, education or SEN.

The ideal candidate holds a 2:1 degree or higher, is passionate about working with children, and is prepared to engage with DBS checks as part of the onboarding process. DBS assistance is available if not yet obtained.

Qualifications

• Degree in any relevant subject.
• 2:1 degree classification or above – essential.
• DBS required – applicants without a DBS can be supported through the process.
• Interest in pursuing a career in teaching, education or SEN.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across the primary school.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Support pupils with their academic development.
• Assist with phonics, reading, writing and numeracy.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs.
• Help children develop confidence, independence and engagement.
• Work closely with class teachers and the SEN team.
• Support classroom activities and behaviour.
