Job summary

Protocol Education is working with a specialist SEND provision in Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne, seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with a range of needs.

You will work closely with Teachers, SENCOs and support staff to help pupils access learning and develop socially and academically. This role offers a valuable stepping stone for graduates aiming for careers in education or child-focused services.

Qualifications

• A degree in any subject.
• Strong communication skills.
• Positive and resilient attitude.
• Passion for supporting young people.
• Experience with children desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
• Assisting with classroom activities and interventions
