Job Opportunity: Graduate Learning Mentor

Are you a recent graduate interested in working within a school setting as a Graduate Learning Mentor? Considering a career in education or teaching but unsure how to start?

Milk Education is seeking graduates in the following degree areas to provide tailored pastoral learning support to students starting September 2024:

• Social Sciences
• Art & Design
• Languages

This role involves working with students who have moderate learning difficulties, including Autism, ADHD, Social Emotional Mental Health issues, and Dyslexia. It is a highly rewarding position where you will support students on a 1:1 and small group basis, ensuring their academic and pastoral success.

You will also collaborate with class teachers, learning from and supporting them in the classroom. We aim to inspire future generations and enhance their overall learning experience. There are also opportunities to work within alternative provision settings, utilizing your degree knowledge and skills.

Key Criteria:

• Must hold a university degree 2:2 or above
• Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
• Clear desire to work with young people
• Ability to provide at least two references from the past two years
• Willingness to undertake CPD training as required by Milk and your placement school
