Job Description

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Graduate Landscape Architect to join our expanding team in Lockington, starting in summer 2025. Whether you are a recent graduate or a graduate with a few years' experience (i.e., 1-3 years, working towards chartership), we are keen to hear from you.

We seek a talented individual to support the continued growth of the practice, working on a variety of projects including masterplanning, green infrastructure design and implementation, landscape and visual impact assessment, and public realm design across the UK.

You will be part of a forward-thinking, multidisciplinary team of Landscape Architects and Urban Designers, collaborating closely with Architects, Ecologists, and Arboriculturists.

Opportunities span the full spectrum of Landscape Architecture and Urban Design.

To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate the following capabilities and experience:

  • A relevant postgraduate qualification (or relevant degree with experience) from an LI-accredited university.
  • The drive to develop your career by gaining experience across the entire spectrum of landscape work.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent design communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software such as Vectorworks, LSS, Lumion, and GIS (desirable, but full training will be provided).
  • Good plant knowledge (desirable).
  • A UK driving licence with access to or willingness to obtain a private car for site visits.

We offer software training, full mentoring, and support towards the Pathway to Chartership with our experienced team.

What you can expect in return:

We offer a competitive salary with potential annual bonuses, pension scheme enrollment, 25 days holiday, a compressed working week, and a holiday purchase system. Everyone is enrolled in a BUPA health and wellbeing cashback scheme. We value staff well-being, with regular volunteering and social activities.

FPCR is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates.

Salary

The salary range of £26,000 - £28,000 is indicative. The actual salary will be based on experience. Bonuses are additional.
