Job summary

Vibe Recruit is seeking a Graduate Laboratory Support Technician for a leading specialist equipment manufacturer based in West Oxfordshire, near Witney. The role involves carrying out laboratory testing to internal procedures and quality standards, with opportunities for customer liaison and travel.

Ideal candidates hold a BSc in Chemistry, have strong problem-solving and organisational skills, and are motivated self-starters comfortable working independently.

Qualifications

• BSc in Chemistry or equivalent.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Good organisation skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.

• Good IT skills using Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• To perform laboratory testing according to internal procedures and associated quality standards.
• Identification of particle contamination through patch testing, microscopy and particle counting equipment.
• Measurement of water content using a Karl Fischer Titrator.
• Measurement of fluid aging properties through TAN and MPC analysis techniques.
• Component cleanliness testing.
• To assist in quality control of manufactured products through component cleanliness testing.
• To perform relevant laboratory administration when required (sample paperwork, quotes, orders etc.).
• To liaise with customers regarding analysis reports
