Are you an IT Support professional looking to join a well-established organisation in the education sector? This is a fantastic opportunity to support IT operations in a growing academy group based in Walsall, Staffordshire. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of IT systems across multiple academies, helping both staff and students maximise their learning potential.

Our client is a well-respected education provider with a strong presence in the region. They have been serving the local community for over a decade and are dedicated to delivering outstanding education with the help of modern technology.

This is an office-based role, working 5 days a week. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential as occasional travel to other academies will be required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide IT support across multiple academies, ensuring network availability and security.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade software to support learning and administrative operations.
• Assist staff and students with hardware and software issues, resolving problems efficiently.
• Maintain IT security systems, ensuring data protection and compliance with regulations.
• Support the development and maintenance of websites and SharePoint sites.

What Experience is Required?

• A IT qualification and a genuine passion for IT.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, network management, and IT security protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently and professionally.

Location:

This role is based in Walsall, Staffordshire and is easily commutable from Lichfield, Cannock, Rugeley, Tamworth, and surrounding areas.
