Job summary

Acturis is seeking graduates to join our fast‑growing software engineering team in Birmingham. You will learn and work with core integration technologies including C#, .NET, Java, SQL and related tools, delivering new functionality and integrating systems.

We offer mentorship from day one, a clear progression path, and real responsibility early on as you contribute to projects alongside experienced engineers. You should have a STEM degree with a 2:1 or higher and have already graduated.

Qualifications

• Have a 2:1+ in a STEM degree and strong A-levels (AAB minimum, ideally including Maths).
• Demonstrable passion for programming and experience with object‑oriented languages such as C#, Java, C++, or Python.
• Immediate start; you must have already graduated university.
• Analytical, organised, and quick to learn new concepts.

Responsibilities

• Learn and work with integration technologies including C#, .NET, Java, webMethods, SQL and related tools.
• Build new functionality, implement change requests and contribute to ongoing development of local and remote system integrations.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts on technical requirements while taking early ownership of discrete projects.

Day to day you will:

• Learn and work with key integration technologies including C#, .NET, Java, webMethods, SQL and related tools as you support and enhance Acturis’ integration platforms.

• Build new functionality, implement change requests and contribute to the ongoing development of local and remote system integrations.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts on technical requirements while taking early ownership of discrete projects and receiving structured, regular feedback.
