Job summary

Acturis is seeking a Graduate Software Engineer to help build and enhance our web platform with C#, ASP.NET, and modern JavaScript frameworks. You will work on dynamic front-end experiences and collaborate with a supportive, fast-paced team in a global SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 2:1+ in a STEM degree with strong A-levels (AAB minimum, including Maths).
• Experience with at least one major programming language and OO programming.
• Strong analytical, collaborative and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Acturis’ web platform using C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC and modern JavaScript frameworks to build dynamic front-end experiences.
• Design and implement innovative tools and solutions while applying best development practices, including unit testing and code reviews.
• Optimise, refactor and improve existing code to ensure performance, maintainability and long-term platform quality.

Job requirements

You'll thrive here if you:

• Have (or expect) a 2:1+ in a STEM degree with strong A‑levels (AAB minimum, including an A in Maths), plus in‑depth experience with at least one major programming language and exposure to object‑oriented programming (e.g., C#, Java or C++).

• Be logical, analytical, organised and quick to learn new technical concepts.

• Communicate confidently and enjoy collaborating in a supportive, team‑focused environment.
