Our client is a major player in the construction industry. Supporting businesses with cement, aggregates, ready-mixed concrete, asphalt, and more, they've worked on significant national projects such as HS2 and the Olympic Stadium.
Established in the 1800s, they now enjoy a global presence within their market and are seeking a graduate to start in the London sales team.
As an inside sales executive, you would be based out of their Greenwich office.
Once fully trained, your goal will be to help develop new business opportunities. This involves tasks such as proactively reaching out to potential clients, responding to inbound leads, and liaising with the technical team on large projects.
No experience is required; attitude and desire are key. Success in this role could lead to opportunities such as moving into a client-facing area sales manager position.
You will receive extensive support and development, especially in the first 12 months. A keen willingness to learn and progress is essential.
Sales can be challenging; resilience is important, as is working towards KPIs and targets.
Relationship building is crucial. You will communicate with a variety of decision-makers daily, so confidence in developing new relationships is vital.
