Job summary

RED is launching a structured graduate programme designed for aspiring engineers to shape the built environment. The scheme offers hands-on engineering experience, mentoring from industry experts, and progression toward professional chartership within a data centre context.

You will work on diverse projects, gain exposure to design software, and develop your technical and business skills in a collaborative, supportive environment with hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSc/BEng in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status.
• Basic knowledge of BIM and engineering software.
• Understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
• Strong IT skills with MS Office proficiency.
• Proactive, enthusiastic and organized with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and delivery of engineering projects in the data centre sector.
• Contribute to live projects and turn ideas into practical solutions.
• Engage in structured training and mentoring to support chartership.
• Explore new technologies and bring fresh ideas to projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and clients.
• Develop technical expertise using specialist software and tools.
• Attend site visits and inspections to see designs realized.
• Support project documentation and information management.
