Job summary

Scrumconnect Consulting in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Graduate HR Assistant to join the People & Talent team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is hybrid, based in Staines, with Tuesday in-office attendance.

You will support day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, documentation, and employee lifecycle activities, working closely with the HR Manager and Talent team to maintain records, coordinate inductions, and assist with recruitment during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate (HR, Business, Psychology or similar) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Some exposure to HR, admin, or people-focused roles is a bonus but not required

Responsibilities

• Support the HR team across the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding to offboarding
• Assist with preparing and issuing contracts, onboarding documents, and employment letters
• Maintain employee records and ensure HR data is accurate and up to date
• Help coordinate induction sessions and onboarding activities for new joiners
• Track probation periods, performance reviews, and other HR processes
• Support with HR queries from employees, ensuring timely and professional responses
• Assist with recording sick leave, annual leave, and other absence management tasks
• Help organise internal events, training sessions, and engagement activities
• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team during peak recruitment periods
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, GDPR requirements, and company procedures
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team and management
