Job summary

Viridien seeks a motivated graduate to join its global HPC team. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience across Linux, high-performance computing, cloud technologies, automation and modern IT operations, with structured coaching.

You will support daily HPC and cloud operations, contribute to automation, document processes and learn from experienced specialists as you develop into a capable IT professional.

Qualifications

• Foundational Linux administration knowledge from university, projects or labs.
• Interest in HPC, cloud, DevOps, infrastructure and automation.
• Basic scripting or programming capability (Bash, Python).
• Analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving approach.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Clear written and verbal communication; collaboration across teams.
• Good organisation and task/deadline management.
• Ability to document work and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation, monitoring and maintenance of HPC, cloud platforms.
• Assist diagnosing and resolving technical issues, escalate as needed.
• Contribute to system improvements, automation and tooling.
• Maintain stability, availability, security and performance of platforms.
