Job summary

AECOM is looking for motivated graduates to join our Highways and Complete Streets Engineering teams across the UK & Ireland, working on pedestrian, cyclist and vehicle design, traffic signals and road schemes with experienced engineers. You will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle from concept to implementation.

As a Highways & Traffic Graduate Engineer, you will receive structured training, attend site visits and meetings, and contribute to designs using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and BIM

Qualifications

• BEng or MEng in civil engineering with 2:1+ (or equivalent).
• Genuine interest in highway engineering and sustainable transport networks.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support development of designs and technical solutions through project stages.
• Attend site visits, meetings and workshops with clients and design professionals.
• Receive training in engineering software and digital BIM processes.
• Contribute to projects from inception to completion across multiple schemes.
