Job summary

SF Partners is recruiting a motivated graduate to join its Birmingham-based technology start-up. You will begin a career in supply chain management, gaining experience in purchasing, supplier relationships, stock control and on-time delivery across UK, Europe and Asia.

You will help manage relationships with suppliers, support material purchasing, track orders, and assist with international shipping and logistics while developing practical skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business or related subject.
• Interest in supply chain, purchasing and supplier management.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with suppliers.
• Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
• Good problem-solving skills and a practical approach.
• Confident using Excel and learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Helping manage relationships with suppliers in the UK and overseas.
• Supporting the purchasing of materials and components needed for production.
• Tracking orders and deliveries to ensure on-time arrival.
• Helping manage stock levels and ensuring materials are available when needed.
• Working with suppliers to resolve delivery, pricing or quality issues.
• Supporting international shipping, imports and logistics.
• Keeping purchasing and stock records accurate and up to date.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Collaborating with the wider team to keep production running smoothly.
