Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Graduate GIS Consultant in the Manchester or Southampton area. The role focuses on turning complex geospatial data into clear information, supporting project delivery with mapping, analysis and reporting, and helping to enhance GIS tools and workflows.

You will work across multiple sectors, with hybrid working supported. A 2:1 BSc in GIS or related field and ESRI stack experience are highly valued as you develop technical and communication skills in a global consultancy.

Qualifications

• A 2:1 BSc in GIS, environmental or geographical sciences is required.
• Knowledge of GIS software, ESRI stack preferred, plus strong communication and time management skills.
• Security clearance suitability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Turn complex data into clear, usable information for non-GIS users.
• Support project delivery through mapping, analysis and reporting.
• Maintain datasets and improve GIS tools and workflows.
• Assist on data-heavy projects and collaborate with the GIS team.
• Help develop and apply GIS technology to improve quality and efficiency.
