Advantage Resourcing UK Ltd. is seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer to join a growing team in the Hinckley area. The role offers a salary of £25,000–£30,000 plus a 10% bonus, training and development, and private health cover.

Qualifications

• BEng or MEng in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Solid foundational knowledge of AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Produce geotechnical design calculations, drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD.
• Read technical drawings to interpret client and site requirements.
• Learn to use and update the internal CRM system (A-Cloud) to track project progress.
• Communicate with consultant engineers, architects, and civil contractors to discuss designs and solutions.
• Develop technical capabilities with structured support toward chartership.

Location: Hinckley & Bosworth Area

Certain Advantage is hiring a Graduate Design Engineer to join a highly successful, growing business supplying advanced materials and engineering solutions into civil engineering and construction markets.

This is a permanent role based at modern, purpose-built facilities in the Hinckley & Bosworth area.

The Company

The Role

Working directly within the engineering department under the guidance of Senior and Principal Engineers, you will work on a wide variety of civil and geotechnical projects.

You will receive structured training, learning how to take complex engineering challenges and turn them into practical, real-world solutions.

• Producing geotechnical design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation using AutoCAD.
• Reading technical drawings to interpret client and site requirements.
• Learning to use and update the internal CRM system (A-Cloud) to track project progress.
• Communicating directly with consultant engineers, architects, and civil contractors to discuss designs and recommend technical solutions.
• Building your technical capabilities with structured support as you work towards full professional chartership.

The Individual

We are looking for enthusiastic grads who are eager to learn and keen to build a long-term career in geotechnical engineering. You should have:

• A BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid foundational knowledge of AutoCAD
• Strong organizational skills and the motivation to manage your own workload within a team setting.
• Clear communication skills for speaking with clients and external engineers.
• 1-2 years of placement or post-grad engineering experience is beneficial, but not essential.
• You must have, or be able to obtain, the right to work in the UK. We are not currently a licensed visa sponsor.
