Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is currently recruiting a Graduate Geography Learning Mentor to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in Havering, East London. This full-time, long-term role offers an excellent entry point for graduates aiming to pursue teacher training and a career in education.

You will work alongside the Geography department to assist lessons, support targeted interventions and help students build confidence and curiosity about the world around them.

Qualifications

• A degree in Geography or a closely related subject.
• Strong interest in inspiring young people and supporting academic progress.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with students.
• Positive, patient, and encouraging approach.
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a department.
• Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with learning.
• Assist with lessons and targeted interventions.
• Provide guidance to help students reach their potential.
• Work with the Geography department to develop confidence in the subject.
• Help create engaging, student-centred activities.
