Job summary
Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Sheffield is seeking a Graduate Geoenvironmental Technician to join a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. You will gain hands-on experience across ground investigation, environmental assessment and site remediation projects.

Qualifications
- Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Interest in ground investigation and environmental engineering.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Willingness to learn on site and in the office.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assist with ground investigations, including trial pits, boreholes and soil sampling.
- Undertake site visits, logging soil and rock conditions and collecting environmental samples.
- Support contaminated land assessments and interpret soil and groundwater data.
- Prepare technical reports, site records and factual ground investigation reports.
- Liaise with project engineers, contractors and laboratory teams.
- Follow health and safety procedures and environmental regulations during sitework.
