Graduate Front-End Developer

Description -

We are looking for a Graduate Front End Developer to join our engineering team in Cambridge. You will be working on the Controller - a web application which manages and reports on our security products. The controller also collects, aggregates, and reports on threat telemetry which HP are in a unique position to collect. You'll be at the forefront of cyber research and intelligence, and you'll be trusted to suggest and investigate then deliver new ideas (see https://www.hpwolf.com/).

What you will do as a Front End Developer:

• Design and build new user interfaces, as well as maintaining existing ones (ES6, Vue.js, Webpack, D3, Sass)
• Maintain and improve the test infrastructure (Jest, Vue.js)
• Maintain and improve the build systems (Webpack)
• Collaborate with back end developers to steer API design

Technical requirements for the Front End Developer:

We are looking for graduates with a degree from an engineering subject who ideally also have some experience in:

• HTML, CSS, JS
• React
• Webpack, Esbuild (or other JS compilers)
• Scss
• Package managers like yarn or npm
• ESM in Javascript

A great Graduate Front-End Developer will have an interest in web security issues and an understanding of how to avoid them.
