Job summary

Clancy is seeking a Graduate Estimator to join our team and support commercial and pre-construction activities on major water infrastructure projects across the UK. You will help produce accurate cost estimates that inform project planning and delivery, working alongside experienced estimators, environmental professionals, and commercial teams.

You will gain hands-on experience in civil engineering, utilities and environmental delivery, with structured development, mentoring and on-the-job

Qualifications

Degree in a relevant discipline such as Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Full, clean UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing project programmes and cost estimates for new projects.
Review drawings, specifications and tender documents to identify requirements and risks.
Obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations for pricing.
Attend site visits with the bid team.
Manage risk registers and compile pricing clarifications.
Support with preparing BoQs and take-offs from drawings.
Collaborate with design, procurement and delivery teams to align estimates with scope.
