Job summary

Clancy is seeking an Estimator to join the pre-construction team in Fareham, tackling tenders for water sector projects up to £20 million. You’ll prepare detailed estimates, perform quantity take-offs, and evaluate supplier quotations, coordinating with engineering and commercial teams to deliver competitive tenders.

Suitable candidates will have a civil/utility background, strong numeracy and an organised approach to deadlines, with NEC3/NEC4 experience considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure and understanding of construction methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates from drawings, specs and tender docs.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and develop first-principles rates.
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotations and manage tenders.
