Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Graduate Estimator / Designer in Alva to join our client’s specialist engineering business. The role involves supporting technical design, estimating and commercial documentation with structured training in design and cost estimation.

You will prepare drawings, interpret customer requirements and produce accurate proposals. Training will cover regulations for compressed gases, quantities, and supplier liaison, with office-based hours Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Graduate/entry-level candidates considered.
• Strong numerical and detailing ability is essential.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer requirements from specifications, drawings and site information.
• Use AutoCAD to prepare and amend technical drawings for gas-system installations.
• Identify products, materials and labour for projects.
• Prepare bills of quantities, cost estimates and quotations.
• Assist with client-facing technical and commercial documentation.
• Manage enquiry workload and meet deadlines.
• Develop knowledge of regulations relating to compressed gases.
• Liaise with colleagues, clients and suppliers to clarify technical information.
