Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Graduate Estimator/Designer in Alva to interpret customer requirements, prepare AutoCAD drawings, and develop cost estimates for gas-system installations. The role is office-based with structured training and progression opportunities.

You will gain hands-on experience in bills of quantities, quotations, and technical documentation while liaising with clients and suppliers. A related qualification and strong numerical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• HNC, HND or higher qualification in Engineering, Design or closely related discipline.
• Experience using AutoCAD, including college or higher education.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering or construction drawings.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel.
• Strong numerical ability with a methodical and detail-focused approach.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Graduate/entry-level candidates are suitable; previous estimating, design, construction or engineering experience is desirable.
• Experience preparing bills of quantities, quotations or technical documentation would be beneficial.
