Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join its M&E team on varied education and healthcare projects. You will deliver electrical designs, surveys and technical support from feasibility to construction, coordinating with clients, contractors and other consultants.

The role covers LV distribution, lighting, fire alarms, data, CCTV, EV charging, and related systems, with site inspections and commissioning involved. A clear path to chartered status is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Building Services engineering.
• Experience in electrical building services design and surveys.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and BS 7671.

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical surveys and develop building services designs.
• Produce drawings, schematics and tender documentation.
• Coordinate designs with other disciplines and clients.
• Assist with site inspections, testing and handover.
• Support project management and junior team members.
