Job summary

Amey is seeking a Graduate Environmentalist in Scotland (Motherwell/Perth) to work on UK infrastructure projects within our Energy & Environment team. You will deliver environmental deliverables across disciplines from day one, learning from industry experts, and supporting sustainable project outcomes.

Qualifications

Enthusiastic and motivated to start a career in engineering/infrastructure.
Demonstrates willingness to learn and adapt.
Strong communication and collaborative skills.
Full UK driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

Prepare environmental screening and scoping assessments.
Consult with clients, local authorities and stakeholders.
Assist in environmental site surveys for disciplines including air quality, noise, ecology and water environment.
Advise on environmental aspects of projects, including EIAs and ecological studies.
Keep up to date with best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
